Fisher's Ghost Creek - The Great Spring Clean Up

By Kiera Ebers Join Me

Registration to attend event is preferred: Bookable

Join Campbelltown City Council’s BushcareResource Recovery and Waste, and Natural Areas teams for a special community clean-up event at Fishers Ghost Creek, Bradbury.

This event is more than just collecting rubbish – it’s about protecting our bushland and waterways, strengthening community pride, and working side by side to create a healthier environment. Rubbish has a real impact on our creeks, local wildlife, and shared open spaces, and together we can make a visible difference.

You’ll also have the opportunity to see first-hand the important work our Bushcare volunteers carry out across Campbelltown. These dedicated community members help conserve habitats, nurture biodiversity, and keep our natural areas thriving for generations to come. By shining a light on their efforts, we hope to inspire more people to get involved and discover the many ways we can collectively care for our environment.

The Great Spring Clean Up is a chance to learn, connect, and take action. Whether it’s through volunteering, joining local programs, or making small everyday changes to reduce rubbish, everyone can play a role in creating cleaner, safer, and healthier spaces for our community and wildlife.

After the clean-up, participants are invited to enjoy a free BBQ lunch and a short education session on how small actions – like making sure rubbish goes in the bin – have a lasting impact on our bushland and waterways.

? As a thank you, five lucky participants will win a Yeti Coffee Cup for taking part.

??????? Everyone is welcome – bring your family, friends, colleagues, or community group. Together, even the smallest efforts add up to something meaningful for Campbelltown.
