As part of the Yunbenun-Magnetic Island and Townsville Coastal Stewardship Project, we are holding a beach clean up on Yunbenun (Magnetic Island) every month for the next three years! Please join us as we strive to protect the World Heritage values of Magnetic Island.
Magnetic Island Community Development Association (MICDA) will be working closely with 14 Project Partners and Whole of Island Working Groups to deliver a coordinated, community-led model of island and coastal restoration and protection.
The Coastal Stewardship Project is delivered in partnership with the Great Barrier Reef Foundation and the Australian Government.
This beach clean-up event is held in partnership with Tangaroa Blue Foundation.
