This community event will bring together students, families, and staff to clean up our surroundings. Sustainability is our community's top priority, and through this event, we will learn about the importance of taking care of our environment. Participants will explore different types of waste, including recyclable items and landfill materials, which should be placed in either red or yellow bins.
Through this event, we also aim to promote the First Nations perspective of how we respect and care for the Country (Gadigal country where our service is situated). The children will learn about caring for our environment, which means caring for the country where we live. Additionally, this will give us opportunities to expand their learning about the ways in which they care for plants and animals within our environment.
