Event Info
Meeting Point: tere is a sandbank section, a gently sloping bank to water, possibly with sand, riverine sediment. This area tends to collect debris and rubbish. The vegetation is probably riparian: native plants along the river, possibly grasses, sedges, maybe small shrubs and trees. But likely some sections are degraded, invasive weeds, or overgrown. The area might have shade from trees nearby, especially closer to public park spaces. The land is semi‐natural: a blend of having human use (e.g. BBQ, picnic, foot traffic) and natural river environment. Ground likely sandy/muddy near the water, transitioning to grass, soil, maybe mulch, plus river rocks. The area is used for recreation: there’s a BBQ area, public access to riverbank, possibly picnic tables, benches, walkways. It is part of parks / open space along Morisset Street’s river corridor. The “Morisset Street river boulevard” is a planned or existing amenity to provide green, pedestrian-friendly connection between the town and the river.
