Sienna and Etta started Beach Clean up Kids (BCK) in 2021., driven by protecting Tasmania’s natural environment. BCK is a biannual community indicative that brings together young people from across the Break O’Day area and Bicheno to help clean up beaches and coastal foreshores, along the North East Coast of Tasmania,
The project encourages youth leadership, environmental responsibility and community pride, as participants remove rubbish from local shorelines to help protect marine life and preserve the beauty of the coastline for future generations.
Over the years BCK has been well supported by families, school friends and local councillors, all pitching in to assist the cause.
