Patawalonga Creek Conservation Reserve
The Patawalonga Creek Conservation Reserve, located on Adelaide Airport land, contains the last section of the creek in its natural state, and contains rare remnant vegetation, including the last stand of Swamp Paperbarks in the metropolitan area.. The site is is located on West Beach Road, opposite Atlantic Avenue, and is open to the public during daylight hours.The Friends of Patawalonga Creek have conducted annual CUAD events at the site since 1999, as well as holding monthly working bees for planting and weed removal.
