Hi! Anyone who regularly walks from the end of the Foreshore Park at Learmonth Street around to the beach at Allestree will know there's far too much rubbish around, particularly behind the magnificent stand of Monterey cypress down by the breakwater. Sad that so many people just seem to chuck their stuff out the window when they go down there. So, time to lend the environment a hand.
Glenelg Voices supporters are asked to meet at 10 am on the green opposite the Learmonth Street roundabout on Sunday, 28th September. There's plenty of room for parking and the view of the ocean is fabulous. Plan is to work for 2-2 1/2 hr.s, then head off for a well-earned snack somewhere.
