Takin' it to the Streets

We were watching Graffiti Alley transform as brilliant artists were leaving their mark bringing colour and vibrancy to Belgraves' End of the Line.
Just then, we looked up and saw Ian Moule’s extraordinary mural had been defaced. This is what we call "tagging" other peoples artwork....4ArtsSaKE*?!
23 years ago Ian took to the streets and painted a local landscape capturing the history of our town and to our knowledge it has remained unharmed for all of those years..... until NOW!
So we thought lets ask Ians' permission to CLEAN UP.
To restore this piece to its former glory.
Why now?
Multiple tags were gathering week by week, first one and then another.
Each day it seamed that someone chose this art to mark their territory, then another felt the unspoken, mistaken invite to spray their scent...and leave a tag 4ArtSaKe*?!
We decided to Clean Up each tag, one by one to put a stop to that which had started, in order to help these misguided souls to KNOW YOUR PLACE
After all GRAFFITI ALLY is right next door!!!! 4ArtsSaKE*?!
