C&K Western Suburbs Kindergarten

During the week of 26 Feb-1st Mar we will talk with children about rubbish, recycling etc. We will distribute gloves and encourage children to clean up the kindy grounds and take their efforts beyond the kindy by collecting rubbish from the community and taking a photo and sending it through for our display at kindy. Water play will focus around rubbish in the waterways and we will extend on this through reading both fiction and non fiction texts and watch short clips about rubbish and reducing waste, shopping for lower waste. We will also run an audit on the amount of waste we produce at Kindergarten and what nude foods are.
