Revamping the Chelsea Beach Patrol group Come to our first clean! We welcome everyone to come join 3196 Chelsea Beach Patrol. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never come to a Beach Clean before. Come help us clean up Chelsea Beach and surrounds, you can choose where you would like to clean up around the area, whether it be the beach or the paths on the foreshore. Stay for as long or as little as you can! You don’t have to clean up the entire time. We weigh and sort through the litter and recyclables you collect, ensuring it doesn’t all go to landfill and providing valuable data to help combat plastic litter, consumption and help support Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme. Time: 10-11am Meeting Point: Victory Park Meet near the BBQ area near the Beach. Clean Up Equipment: We can provide gloves for you however you may like to bring gloves for your own comfort. We will provide bags to collect litter in. When you have finished cleaning up, you will come back to the meeting point at 10.50am and we’ll sort through your litter.
