CARRINGTON MANGROVE CLEAN UP

By Theresa DARGIN Join Me

HELPING ASSIST THE MANGROVES BY SUPPORTING OUR ECOSYSTEM AND WATERWAYS. THIS SPACE IS SACRED TO TRADITIONAL CUSTODIANS AND WE CALL THIS LAND AND WATERWAYS HOME.
THESE MANGROVES ARE IMPORTANT FOR OUR MARINE SPECIES SUCH AS OUR MUD CRABS AND FISH, AS WELL AS THE FLYING FOX POPULATION.
HOWEVER THE AREA ALSO RECEIVES ALL OF THE STORMWATER FROM ACROSS THE URBAN THROSBY CREEK CATCHMENT. AND SO THE MANGROVES ARE CATCHING ALL OF THE LITTER.
