Join us for Clean Up Australia Day 2025!

The local Greens branches from Merri-bek and Darebin are teaming up to help clean up our community, and we’d love for you to be part of it! This event is open to all members of the public—whether you're a local or just passing through, come and connect with your community while making a positive impact.

What we’ll do:

We’ll meet for a couple of hours of fresh air, light exercise, and great conversation—all while doing something meaningful. Together, we’ll clean up rubbish along and near the riverbank. Afterward, join us for a coffee or tea to relax and chat.

What to bring:

• Water and appropriate footwear are a must.

• We’ll provide bags and sunscreen. 

• If you prefer, bring your own gloves; however, disposable gloves will also be available.
